RÉSERVE URBAINE

Description

Are there tools to protect the associative heritage of our cities? How to protect and encourage what is born within our urban wastelands, in reused premises, diverted from their original function? How to take care of these fragile ecosystems without disturbing them? Isn't it time to look into this, rather than letting them clash with the fatality of the real estate market or planning schemes? Let's imagine an urban reserve, a tolerated margin that could shelter the needs that the foreseeable city cannot meet. This mini-conference will then be followed by a small cassette-recorded concert. Louis will play his folk songs, while Jessica Vaucher from éditions Ripopée will create the covers and cassettes live, which she will then sell at a free price to the public. 6:30 PM: Conference Louis Jucker "Réserve Urbaine" 7:00 PM: Concert Louis Jucker & Ripopée Louis Jucker is a do-it-yourself musician and trained architect. For several years, he has been developing the concept of "Réserve Urbaine," a utopian yet pragmatic proposal aimed at anchoring wastelands within cities. His work will materialize during the Swiss Cultural Capital in La Chaux-de-Fonds in 2027. He will present the progress of his ongoing work at F'AR.
