EXPERIENCE | CONVERSATION At the "Researchers Beer" in the foyer of the Kulturplatz Davos, scientists and knowledge seekers meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 18:30 to socialize and exchange ideas. Special Guests On October 6, 2026, Researchers Beer will focus on four young researchers and their diverse fields of research. The guests will be Naïma Bouti, Claire Chabot, Anna-Sophia Egger-Hörschinger, and Lydia Knappe, who will present their work at the «Graubünden forscht 2026» congress on November 6 and 7. In conversation with Barbara Haller Rupf, the four researchers will talk about their personal career paths, their research, and the questions that particularly fascinate them. Naïma Bouti works and conducts research in the field of complex postpartum rehabilitation, focusing on the treatment and rehabilitation of women following complex birth injuries. Claire Chabot, a PhD candidate at the AO Research Institute, investigates bone fractures and why they fail to heal properly in 5–10% of patients. Anna-Sophia Egger-Hörschinger, a PhD chemist and postdoctoral researcher at SIAF, studies the interactions between nutrition, the microbiome, and the host in relation to common diseases in modern society. Lydia Knappe, a geographer and climate and avalanche researcher at SLF, is currently testing new devices that provide insights into snow characteristics and, consequently, avalanche risk. In addition to their research projects and personal career paths, the conversation will explore the four researchers’ expectations for «Graubünden forscht 2026» and what it means to present their work to a wider audience as young researchers.
