Requiem für Fanny

Description

This concert commemorates the composer Mendelssohn's emotional response to his sister Fanny's death, with performances of Haydn's string quartet, Mozart's A-Dur Clarinet Concerto in chamber version, and Mendelssohn's poignant String Quartet op. 80. The ensemble Quatuor Terpsychordes from Geneva, including Girolamo Bottiglieri, Raya Raytcheva, Caroline Cohen-Adad, and Florestan Darbellay, will deliver a heartfelt program in the historic Kunsthalle Appenzell.
