Description

At the second autumn concert of the Jazz Club Slaný, the young Brno band ReneGatz will present themselves, oscillating between modern and traditional jazz, folklore, and rock. Finally, we will have a replacement for the performance that was canceled a year ago due to illness. ReneGatz primarily focuses on their own original compositions – "musical stories infused with a certain degree of audacity." The band's primary idea is to create original music that naturally reflects the musical personalities of each member. Live communication, often in real-time even at concerts, is the most essential component of the identity of the band Renegatz. The musicianship of this ensemble was justly rewarded with victory in the junior category of the Jazzfruit 2024 competition. ReneGatz has released three live session singles and performed at numerous concerts in the Czech Republic and abroad.
