Poetic and Musical Recital

Description

Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 7:00 PM at the Pierre Gianadda Foundation: POETIC AND MUSICAL RECITAL "WE ARE INFINITELY IN AGREEMENT" By Juliette Huot and Laura Sighirdjian: Theatrical interpretation and Karl Gaspar: Piano "It seemed to me I knew him forever [...] I like him very much. I felt it immediately." Rainer Maria Rilke to his wife Clara Westhoff Rilke - September 2, 1902 It is the story of two men who seemed to be opposites: age, language, origin, and character. Yet, from this meeting, a strong friendship was born, based on their quest for the absolute, their demand for work, but above all, their love for art. It is this encounter and friendship between the sculptor and the poet that we propose to discover through a poetic and musical recital. The show intertwines texts from various correspondences and poems by Rilke as well as his monograph on Rodin, all interspersed with musical interludes. TICKETS FOR THE EVENING Entry: CHF 30.- Holders of the Raiffeisen card (MemberPlus): CHF 10.- Friends of the Foundation: CHF 10.- Duration: 1h10 / 1h15 The gardens will be open to the public from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM, as a prelude to the recital.
