Rebecca Trescher Tentett - In cooperation with Jazzclub Lindau

Description

In cooperation with Jazzclub Lindau. 70 years of Jazzclub 1957-2027 You can always feel the extraordinary, inspiring energy of this ensemble, which unites some of the most popular musicians from all over Germany. Six-part choral arrangements, multiple saxophones, flutes, and clarinets, powerful tuttis with cello and flugelhorn, and exciting harmonic textures alternate with daringly virtuosic solos. The boundaries between composed, intricately arranged art music and spontaneously improvised moments are casually blurred. Since 2019, the nine musicians around bandleader Rebecca Trescher have been playing together in this configuration. Trescher's compositions are characterized by a special combination of jazz and contemporary music and are often inspired by nature. The special thing about this "symphonic ensemble": each musician can constantly switch into new roles. Melody or phrase player, soloist, or part of a harmonic element or a rhythmic ostinato. The extraordinary energy and joy of playing of the Tentett immediately sparks a connection with the audience.
