Program:
9:00 - 9:30 AM Registration of participants
9:30 – 11:00 AM Welcome and workshop "How to Navigate the Abundance of Books"
We will look together at a selection of newly published children's books – titles that could engage and entertain children while offering them something that resonates or prompts reflection. Some books will be presented in detail, while others will be briefly showcased.
A part of the program will also focus on working with books through selected critical thinking methods. Some of these will be tried out directly, and we will explore their application when working with children.

11:30 AM – 1:00 PM Workshop “Reading Molecules – The Reader's Journey”
Reading Molecules have long been dedicated to supporting emerging readers. The seminar's theme is The Reader's Journey – from the first steps of reading in preschool to working with books in primary school. We will introduce the method of leveled reading, discuss moments when we engage children in reading, and review materials that can be used to develop reading literacy in schools, libraries, and at home.

1:00 - 2:30 PM What didn't fit into the workshop – tips on additional books, music, robots
Stations in the Children's and Youth Library on the 2nd floor at Dolní náměstí. The festival will also continue in the afternoon:
