MUSIC | JAZZ 2017 crossed paths with Elina Duni and Rob Luft at the Montreux Jazz Festival, a meeting that marked the beginning of a unique project. Since then, they have toured the world and released two critically acclaimed albums with ECM Records in quartet formation. Their planned 2026 album, a reduced duo production, returns to the essence of their first encounter. Here, we can experience the simple beauty of Elina Duni's singing, which merges with Rob Luft's crystal-clear guitar sounds into a hypnotic dance. Together, they weave a tapestry of songs that evoke the mystery and joy of the night, the moon, and the magic living within us all. This musical journey is a gentle caress, a soothing lullaby that offers hope in darkness and reminds us of the comfort of home.
