Boss van Trigt, who may be better known to the reggae audience as "Boss Capone" and of course as the singer of "The Upsessions", is not only extremely talented himself but also has an incredible eye for talent. In 2002, he saw the French band "Two Tone Club" with two fantastic performers in their ranks. Frontman Linton Black and organist Julien "Purple" Leroy steal the show on stage with their infectious energy. These two men have never left his mind since, and after this first encounter, he promised himself that one day he would form a band with them. And... a promise is a promise.
In 2022, Boss spoke with his friend and drummer Flo Strober, and both shared the desire for a new, raw, punky ska band...
And there it is... a supergroup! Brand new and for the first time in Switzerland. And where? Of course at our Oxil. We are excited.... Alex Dynamite and The Pyrolites (CH)
Fire Blasting Early Reggae Comin in Hot!
Never heard of them? No wonder, they are brand new. Well, actually about a year old... But already for the second time with us! As "Alex Dynamite & The Pyrolites", the band Jar has a new Boss reggae project with Alex from "Team Sondermodelle" on board. Their first performance as support for Mango Wood was so amazing that we just had to book them again!
