In our series of coffee house concerts, musicians from the region are the focus. Who doesn't know "Somewhere in the World" or "Music! Music! Music" by the Comedian Harmonists or "Sing Sing Sing" by Louis Prima. The Projektchor Olten presents a colorful bouquet of lively and melancholic evergreens and refined salon music from the 1920s to 1940s from the environment of variety,
chanson and swing. Such programs fit perfectly with the profile of the Projektchor Olten: The ensemble performs music of all styles and epochs, predominantly modern classical music and especially entertainment music from 1900 onwards. The high level of the mostly instrumentally accompanied works, but also the experimental spirit of the singing ladies and gentlemen extends to modern avant-garde. The choir repeatedly delights in a relaxed sequence through collaboration with other choirs and unusual formations, such as brass bands.
