Premiere: Vitodura tells – staged portrayal of Winterthur's city history

The Women's City Tour Winterthur association celebrates the premiere of its new staged presentation "Vitodura tells". It brings the history of Winterthur from the street to the stage. The host of the staged presentation is the city goddess Vitodura. With wit, charm, and a wink, she takes the audience on her journey from the settlers of the Neolithic to the fight for women's voting and suffrage rights in the 20th century. Along the way through the centuries, she encounters various historical figures who bring to life both everyday and significant moments of the city's history with their appearances. The staged presentation is complemented by historical images from the image archive of the Winterthur collection. Enjoy an entertaining and surprising afternoon at the theater and see Winterthur from a new perspective. Afterwards, there will be an aperitif at the Winterthur collection at Oberen Kirchgasse 8.
