X-Pyr: back in the FLOW 530 kilometers from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean, on foot or flying. In the adventure race X-Pyr, each of the 50 athletes starts with their own support team. What appears from the outside to be a race from A to B is, in reality, a highly complex team adventure filled with countless details and decisions. For Chrigel Maurer, one theme was central: the FLOW. The fourth place at the Red Bull X-Alps 2025 did not meet his expectations. So the team systematically analyzed the race and optimized every detail for the X-Pyr, allowing everyone to find their flow again and reach their full potential. What does this flow look like from the inside? How does a team work in the midst of a race, what decisions are made along the way, and what is needed for everything to come together in the end? Chrigel and his supporters filmed as much as possible themselves, bringing the audience closer than any external camera could. A film crew was present during the race week, assisting with filming and complementing the footage. The same moment, once from the air, once from the ground. This resulted in a documentary that takes you behind the scenes of the X-Pyr and into the world of Chrigel Maurer and his team. The film was produced by Marcial Sommer, who was involved from the preparation through the race to the editing, accompanying the team all the way.
