For 20 years, the “Prättigauer Alp Spektakel” has celebrated the end of the alpine summer with a grand festival! A magnificent descent from the pastures, the four-legged “Misses” at the cattle show, sheep shearing, and cheese production demonstrations allow visitors to experience life on the pastures up close. In the «Prättigauer Alpkäsehimmel» (Paradise of Alpine Cheeses of Prättigau), 16 alpine dairies present their cheeses for tasting and competition: the audience gets to choose their favorite cheese! The large market of alpine cheeses and specialties, featuring traditional handcrafted products, invites exploration and enjoyment. A children's parade, a playful course, a big raffle with enticing prizes, and a rich musical and culinary program complete the diverse offerings. Seewis marks the conclusion of the series of grand alpine festivals: it is definitely worth immersing oneself once more in the magic of the alpine summer and filling the stomach and cellar with many delicious alpine products from Prättigau.
