Poster Hand-made

Description

In this workshop, posters are created entirely by hand. Images are cut with scissors or a knife and composed into collages. Colors are applied with a brush or spray can, creating expressive gradients and textures. Typography and text are set by hand – in the spirit of the design tradition of Jan Tschichold and John Heartfield.

General Information

In this workshop at the Museum of Design Zurich, participants learn to create posters entirely by hand. Using scissors, color, and hand-set typography, expressive analog collages are created.
