Description
Political Marketplace is a 'Happening Jam'. It is an open dance and movement evening for everyone. There is no fixed program and no choreography. Instead, the evening develops together in the moment. Everyone participates in a way that suits them. The evening is inspired by Cabaret Voltaire in Zurich. There, in 1916, amidst World War I, young artists gathered. They protested against war and strict rules with nonsense, noise, and humor. From these wild, playful evenings, the Dada art movement emerged. This spirit of play, absurdity, and rebellion also characterizes the Political Marketplace. Specifically, this means there is no strict separation between audience and participants. Each person can decide how they want to participate. You can dance or move as you like. You can speak or make sounds. You can listen or just observe. No prior knowledge is required. It only matters that you are there and participate in your own way. English will be spoken that evening. You do not need to speak the language. All languages are welcome. Communication also takes place through movement and sound.
