For nearly twenty years, Diane Dugard and Juan Cocho have shared their daily lives with their animals and have invented a unique form of theater with them. After chickens, they now explore the world of shepherds, surrounded by a flock of Indian runner ducks! On stage, these small birds display boundless vitality, moving under the watchful eye of two dogs with very different temperaments: Boby, an unwavering worker, and Paulette, lively and playful. With these very singular performers, the show is built in the present, with a constant focus on what unites us with the living. Attentive accomplice, pianist Guillaume Marsalet improvises live, matching the movements, twists, and hesitations of this crazy menagerie. A gentle mix of precision and letting go, the stage becomes an space of instinctive cohabitation, where we observe, with humor and delicacy, the bonds that are woven—sometimes fragile, often unexpected—between humans and animals.
