Poetry Slam - 4th Gaggenau Poets' Competition

Description

Seven language artists from the German-speaking slam scene gather for a poetic pillow fight. Poetry Slam is poetic rock 'n' roll – the most entertaining literary format of the present. Nowhere else is language served as attractively, originally, and surprisingly. Everything is allowed that can be done with body, voice, and at most one sheet of paper as a prop. The rules are simple and international: the performed texts must be self-written, there is a time limit of six minutes, and props or costumes are not allowed. In the end, only the audience decides who leaves the stage as the winner. The evening is hosted by Natalie Friedrich from Malsch, U20 state champion of Baden-Württemberg 2019. Participants include: Marius Loy (BaWü vice-champion 2018, Stuttgart), Der letzte Gerhard (rising star, Freiburg), Julie Kerdellant (moderator and organizer, Landau), Anna Filipak (organizer, Tübingen), Jonas Neuhäusser (finalist BaWü championships 2026, Heidelberg), Jenny Beilharz (rising star, Alpirsbach). The 4th Gaggenau Poets' Competition takes place at the klag-Bühne Gaggenau and offers an exciting Poetry Slam format. The event starts at 8 PM, with doors opening at 6 PM. The audience decides who leaves the stage as the winner.
