Poems of the rocks - Poetry-Rock to cheer for

Description

POEMS ON THE ROCKS
POETRY–ROCK TO CHEER FOR
Since 2004, POEMS ON THE ROCKS from Stuttgart has been inspiring with a unique concept: rock classics in German translation that bring the profound messages and often cryptic content of the original songs to life.
Actor Jo Jung, voice of ZDF, ARTE, and SWR, translates lyrically and brings the texts to the stage with expressive mimicry and language.
Visual highlights are guaranteed by Karsten Hoppe with a spectacular, song-based video show. The new anniversary program presents 16 freshly interpreted rock gems and invites you on a fifth journey through rock history. From Pink Floyd, David Bowie, and The Beatles to Kate Bush, CSN, Sting, and Peter Gabriel – diversity and quality are at the forefront. POEMS ON THE ROCKS combines texts with depth, passionate performance, and masterful music into an unforgettable concert experience that repeatedly excites rock fans.
