Object theater What would happen if the horizon was no longer in the distance, but in our hands? What if we carried the Earth? Would we take better care of it?
On stage, a miniature world unfolds, a playground full of possibilities. Curious hands explore it: they move, shape, enlarge, crush. Gradually, the world becomes fuller. And heavier. "Plateau" is a poetic encounter between theater, illustration, and film, brought together by three young voices from the Flemish theater scene: theater maker and illustrator Fran Van Gysegem, actor Milan Van Bortel, and musician Visjal Auwerx create an intimate reflection on our relationship with the environment, which will be premiered in Germany at Theater der Dinge.
