Planta Industrial is a uncompromising, genre-crossing project from the Bronx, led by the Dominican artists Saso and Aka The Darknight. Their music combines post-punk, dark wave, electronic sounds, pop, and rap, creating a sound that defies traditional genre boundaries. With their project Punk Wave Sin Barreras, Planta Industrial clearly states their goal in the title: to break musical boundaries. The duo gained international attention through performances of "Oi" and "Anormales" at COLORSxSTUDIOS. "Teteo in the Bronx" also premiered on Zane Lowe's Apple Music 1 show. On October 16, 2026, their new album Punk Wave Sin Barreras Volume 2: Cutting Corner will be released, continuing to develop their uncompromising, genre-crossing sound. Deeply rooted in Afro-Caribbean culture, the duo blends these influences with the energy and musical diversity of the Bronx. Sonically, anything is possible: punk drums meet breakbeats, synthesizers, and drum machines. Their energetic, dark sound world reflects influences from My Chemical Romance, System of a Down, and Linkin Park, as well as hip-hop giants like Big Pun. What makes Planta Industrial particularly special is not just these references, but the naturalness with which all these musical worlds coexist without compromise. On December 12, 2026, the duo will bring this sound to Germany for the first time, celebrating their German premiere at Berlin's Urban Spree.
