But every attempt to restrict Pippi's independence fails miserably against her strength, wit, and unwavering desire for freedom. Together with the obedient neighborhood children Annika and Tommy, Pippi even turns an ordinary school lesson into an adventure. She shows that a little resistance against rigid rules makes life more colorful – and that you don't have to do everything like everyone else.
