Mushroom Course for Beginners

Description

With a lot of experience and practical relevance, Heinz Hummel, a certified mushroom inspector VAPKO, teaches you the most important basics of mycology. In an illustrative introduction, you will learn everything important about mushroom species and genera as well as about safe collecting, storing, and preserving mushrooms. With valuable tips and solid knowledge, you lay the foundation for your own mushroom adventures in the forest. After a delicious lunch at Meier's Restaurant, you will be strengthened to go outside. On a joint excursion through the forest, you will collect mushrooms under expert guidance, which will be discussed and identified on site. After inspection, you may take your finds home and enjoy them. Course program:
09:15 – 11:45: Theory part at Garten-Center Meier
11:45 – 13:15: Lunch at Meier's Restaurant
13:15 – 17:00: Excursion into the forest
Notes:
The costs include lunch, excluding drinks. - The course takes place outdoors and will be held in any weather. Please dress accordingly.
Please bring: basket, (pocket) knife, and pastry brush so you can clean your collected mushrooms.
