Description

The famous musical tale by Sergei Prokofiev presented in an adaptation for flute, clarinet, violin, viola, and bassoon. "Pierre et le loup – Histoire d’une rencontre" is a project led by the UMANIDA association that aims to renew the listening experience of this iconic work through an original arrangement commissioned from Manuel Gerber. The project also includes an adaptation of the narrative and mediation around the work, which will provide the audience with keys to listening and understanding, introducing them to the instruments and the musical themes associated with the different characters. This mediation aspect, designed for young audiences, encourages an active engagement with music. Founded in January 2023, the UMANIDA association develops artistic, cultural, and social projects aimed at a wide audience. UMANIDA advocates a culturally grounded approach that is open to everyone. Through its projects, the association aims to create spaces for encounter, discovery, and sharing, placing the artistic experience at the heart of the connection with the public.
