A small experience that relaxes you and is at the same time really exciting. ✨ The alpaca experience includes • 2 hours picnic on the alpaca meadow • Introduction to the world of alpacas – including exciting facts & Q&A with the alpaca herders • Time for observing & photographing • You bring your own picnic basket (your favorite food – very easy) • Non-alcoholic drinks, coffee & tea are offered • Small souvenir Note: Alpacas are sensitive flight animals. Closeness sometimes arises naturally – without pressure. With calm and patience, a curious alpaca might come closer. Petting is possible but not guaranteed. How it works Your experience starts with a warm introduction: We show you how to behave best on the meadow and tell you more about the alpacas – from their nature to their care. Our alpaca herders are nearby the whole time, accompany you, and answer questions. (Don't worry: We do not sit on your picnic blanket) Then the picnic time begins: You make yourself comfortable, enjoy your food, and let the meadow atmosphere take effect. Watch alpacas, take photos, breathe deeply – and just be. Experience the calm magic of these animals and take two hours of break that you will surely remember for a long time. FAQ • Dogs: today "off-leash" Alpacas react sensitively to dogs – therefore we ask you not to bring your four-legged friend. Thank you! ✨ • Children: 0–6 years are free of charge. • Accompaniment: At least 1 adult companion is required per child up to 14 years. • Weather: takes place only in good weather. Your hosts Silja and her team have created a place of relaxation with the Mini-Hof association where you can let your soul dangle. Silja has been involved in animal activities at the Zurich community center for 9 years and loves to enable respectful encounters between humans and animals. At the Mini-Hof you will meet not only the alpaca herd but also goats, chickens, guinea pigs, and rabbits. We are a collective of friends, alpaca farms, yoga teachers, and artists united by love for nature and animals. Our goal: Your relaxed smile. We enable respectful encounters with the wonderful alpaca. Besides the picnic, alpaca yoga, fondue, sound journeys, or painting amidst alpacas complete the relaxed experiences.
