Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Concert in C for Flute, Harp, and Piano César Franck Mass in A for Choir, Soloists, and Piano An evening of concert that brings light into the present. Led by pianist and voice coach Oxana Peter-Fedjura, the Pianoxachor has gained a good reputation with its concerts in the Wil area. It is especially distinguished by a beautiful, round, and even choral sound. Its repertoire includes melodies and arias from well-known operas and operettas, as well as spiritual and folk songs. The young flutist Sofia Sigfried opens with Mozart's radiant Flute Concerto in C, KV 299, accompanied by Irina Dashkieieva's delicate harp sound and Oxana Peter at the piano. In the second part, César Franck's Mass in A is performed. A work of remarkable spirituality, not bound to any denomination but to the human itself. This music guides through pleas, joy, doubt, and hope – and ends in the heartfelt Dona nobis pacem, the wish for peace shared by all. The Pianoxachor and Bernhard Jakober, whose tenor exudes particular warmth, are accompanied by Irina Dashkieieva. Her harp sound permeates the work with fine light. The mass is underscored by the warm cello tone of young cellist Borys Husiev, while Oxana Peter accompanies on the piano and conducts the choir and ensemble with a steady hand. Oxana Peter-Fedjura – Choir Director & Pianist Trained at the Odessa Conservatory, Oxana Peter-Fedjura has been active for many years as a concert pianist, répétiteur, and specialist in song and opera accompaniment. In Switzerland, she works as a soloist, accompanist, and organist and passionately leads the church choir as well as the Pianoxachor. Bernhard Jakober – Tenor The native Vorarlberger, a professional electrician, is refining his tenor voice with Oxana Peter-Fedjura. As a soloist, he has performed in operas and operettas, organized song evenings—including Schubert's Dichterliebe and Die schöne Müllerin—and sung in numerous orchestral masses. Iryna Dashkieieva – Harp Trained harpist and musicologist. Until her escape from Kharkiv (Ukraine), she worked there as a harp teacher and orchestral musician. Since 2022, she has been living in Switzerland with her son, Borys Husiev, continuing her musical activities here. Borys Husiev – Cello Born in 2010. From 2016 to 2022, he received his training at the Music Lyceum in Kharkiv, and since 2022 at the Conservatory Winterthur. The young cellist is a multiple prizewinner at international and national competitions in Ukraine, Austria, Greece, and Switzerland. Sofia Siegfried – Flute She has been guided and supported by various teachers on her musical journey since the age of seven. Today, she attends the Talent School of the Swiss Academy Zurich and is concurrently enrolled in the Pre-College of the Zurich University of the Arts.
