He began his musical career as a trumpeter – he studied at the Janáček Conservatory in Ostrava and performed on prestigious stages, including the Music of the Castle Guard in Prague, the National Theatre of Moravian-Silesia, and the Silesian Theatre in Opava. However, the sound of the pan flute became his destiny, captivating him so much that he dedicated himself fully to this instrument. He developed his mastery under the guidance of the world-renowned interpreter Liselotte Rokyta, further studied with the renowned German virtuoso Ulrich Herkenhoff, and his most valuable inspiration came from personal meetings and regular contact with the legendary “king of the pan flute,” Maestro Gheorghe Zamfir. These artistic influences are reflected in his distinctive expression, which combines technical brilliance with deep emotionality.
