Description

Of the ten editions of the Václav Burian Award, photographer Petr Palarčík most vividly remembers the fifth, the 'covid' one. The exceptional situation required unconventional solutions: everything took place online, streamed on the internet, with poets meeting audiences only on the screens of laptops and phones. The broadcast was from the Burian apartment, whose 'genius loci' significantly contributed to the unique atmosphere of the competition. Photographs from this edition will be displayed in the foyer of CENTRAL. The exhibition opening will take place before this year's edition of the Václav Burian Award. FREE ENTRY
