This Turkish artist, who lives in Germany, brings a breath of fresh air to the world of groove with her intuition and uncompromising authenticity. Turkish disco, dancefloor jazz, city pop? All of the above and none of the above—more like a laid-back journey across the boundaries of the international underground scene. Produced by Dustin Braun and backed by a band of top-notch jazz musicians. Dirty disco meets fuzzy funk, Anatolian rare grooves meet experimental synths, with a touch of library music and Japanese city-pop. And right in the middle of it all: her voice—distinctive, slightly ethereal, instantly recognizable. Her debut album was released in September 2025, telling the whole story for the first time. The cover? A young Peki—and it’s precisely this freshness that runs through the entire project. On tour, she brings it all to life on stage. And she’s finally turning on the lights here at TapTab.
