The traditional brass band festival Pavlušův Mistřín takes place every two years in Svatobořice - Mistřín. This name originated from a personal promise made by the current conductor František Pavluša to his brother Antonín – as a symbol of hope and human strength. He promised his brother Antonín, who faced a serious illness, that if he won the battle against the serious disease, he would establish a festival bearing his name.
