Description

Pater Brown live: Exciting crime stories as a captivating live radio play Featuring Wanja Mues, Antoine Monot, and beatboxer Marvelin touring from autumn 2025 in Munich – two audience favorites and a cult figure: Antoine Monot ("Behringer and the Dead", "A Case for Two") and Wanja Mues ("A Case for Two") will bring the live radio play "Pater Brown" to the stage from autumn 2025. They are supported by Marvelin, one of the most sought-after beatboxers in the German-speaking world, who creates the entire soundscape live – from church bells to gusts of wind. The audience can expect an exciting evening full of twists, puzzle fun, and unique sound design. Two gripping cases will be staged at the start: • "The Blue Cross" – a cat-and-mouse game between Pater Brown, master thief Flambeau, and a brilliant detective. • "The Falling Brothers" – a dark family drama about guilt, pride, and a deadly secret. "We wanted to make Chesterton's cases as tangible as they are: exciting crime stories to puzzle over – modern, approachable, and with a sound that touches the soul," says Wanja Mues. Known from the ZDF hit series "A Case for Two" with an average of 4.5 million viewers, Monot and Mues will perform live on stage for the first time here. The cult figure Pater Brown was already made popular by Heinz Rühmann and Ottfried Fischer – now it is experiencing a modern, interactive reissue with Monot, Mues, and Marvelin.
