Everything wavers, but we continue. We repeat, we meet again, we do what we can to hold on. In "Peace," Tiphanie Bovay-Klameth embodies an entire community alone, that of a local group trying to collectively create an artistic work. It's modest, a bit shaky, often funny — and full of truth. Through a gallery of characters, the show explores the fragile effort to live together while everything around seems ready to collapse. A fragment of our society, caught in the disorder of daily life, between grandeur and small cowardices, awkward empathy and shared solitude. In the vein of "D’Autres," her previous solo, Tiphanie deploys a theater without voice-over, without grand explanations. Just scenes, gestures, impulses. We laugh, we recognize ourselves, we grit our teeth a little. And in this shaky attempt to form a group despite chaos, a gentle, almost shy emotion emerges: the desire to continue. Tiphanie Bovay-Klameth was born in Lausanne and trained as an actress at La Manufacture, Haute école des arts de la scène. In 2008, she joined the universe of Deschiens and performed in "Salle des Fêtes" by Macha Makeïeff and Jérôme Deschamps. With François Gremaud and Michèle Gurtner, she founded the collective GREMAUD / GURTNER / BOVAY. Together, they created several shows including "KKQQ," "Chorale," "Western Dramedies," "Les Potiers," "Vernissage," and "Les Sœurs Paulin" at the Arsenic and the Swiss Cultural Center in Paris. In theater, Tiphanie Bovay-Klameth has collaborated with Joël Maillard, Léa Pohlhammer, Kiyan Khoshoie, Charlotte Dumartheray, Joëlle Fontannaz, Guillaume Béguin, Delphine Abrecht, among others. In 2017, she created the TBK company to realize her own projects and presented her first solo: "D’Autres." She received the François Silvant prize and opened the Swiss Selection in Avignon (SCH) in 2018. In 2019, the Vaud Foundation for Culture awarded her the Theater Prize.
