Open Season is the band that you know at least three songs from without realizing it. They wrote the unofficial Euro 2016 song, which later became the official song of the football club Berner Young Boys in a new edition. Now, the rocksteady institution is opening a new era. For their new album, the band collaborates with Dr. Mo and releases contemporary songs that create beautiful moments in difficult times. Anthems about connection, pumping beats for self-forgetful hours on the dancefloor, shimmering tracks with positive energy.
Live, the band is better than ever. Open Season brings a power to the stage that has developed over many years in many clubs and countries. The band has been supported by women since 2000 and has always brought diverse identities to the stage. They are the crowd-pullers at every festival they perform at, surprising everyone.
Jahcoustix (solo) is a German reggae singer/songwriter celebrating his 25th stage anniversary in 2026 with his 10th studio album "Footsteps". He spent most of his childhood and youth in Africa, where he discovered reggae at the age of 14. In the late 90s, Jahcoustix returned to Germany and became part of the thriving reggae scene in Europe, making his dream come true.
Since the release of his debut album (2003), his music has gained recognition far beyond his home country. In subsequent years, Jahcoustix has performed at festivals such as the famous Montreux Jazz Festival, as well as at Rock am Ring and Rock im Park, and has toured extensively in Africa, the USA, South America, and New Zealand. Jahcoustix has released eight studio albums and various singles (including World Citizen feat. Shaggy) and has collaborated with some of his biggest idols (including Israel Vibration, Horace Andy, Akae Beka).
