MUSIC | JAZZ End the year musically and immerse yourself in the world of the Old Style Bigband (OSB) – with swing and blues, but also with pop and rock. The OSB brings together nearly 20 musicians from the Bündner and St. Galler Rheintal as well as the Prättigau. Recently, the OSB has been under the musical direction of Patrick Rothenberger, who shapes the sound of the orchestra with new impulses and a lot of passion. The spectrum of the OSB ranges from ragtime, rock 'n' roll, swing, funk, Broadway, big band sound of the 30s, to well-known songs from musicals and pop songs. The 'Old Stylers' – partly with their own arrangements – maintain the big band tradition and their soloists on trumpet, saxophone, trombone, piano, and guitar are guaranteed to reinvent something new at every concert.
