Description

Your voice is an orchestra of sounds and timbres that, together, shape your own sound color. In diphonic singing, you learn to know this inner orchestra: you shape the resonance of your voice, bring out the harmonics, and thus sing two notes simultaneously. Diphonic singing immerses you in the heart of the vocal phenomenon, enriches your sound expression, and enhances your ability to perceive the fullness of each sound. Anyone capable of speaking can learn this beneficial and powerful vocal practice. This workshop is open to all interested in sound and diphonic singing. The basics and techniques of diphonic singing are taught in an accessible way, even without prior experience. Together, you explore your voice and its sound colors, and open your ears to the harmonics naturally present in every sound. Those with previous experience in diphonic singing are welcome and can also benefit from this workshop.
