Overtone Singing Workshop

Description

Our voice is an orchestra of sounds and tones that together shape our very own timbre. In overtone singing, we learn to recognize this inner orchestra: we shape the resonance of our voice, bring out the overtones, and sing two tones at once. Overtone singing takes us deep into the phenomenon of the voice, enriches our vocal expression, and enhances our ability to hear the fullness of every sound. Anyone who can speak can learn this healing and powerful singing practice. This workshop is aimed at everyone interested in sound and overtone singing. The basics and techniques of overtone singing are taught, making it accessible even for those without prior experience. Together, we explore our voice and its tonal colors and open our ears to the overtones naturally present in every sound. Those with previous experience in overtone singing are very welcome and can benefit from the workshop.
