Revelation of the young generation, Edna Unseld (15 years old) stands out with an extraordinary artistic presence, rare maturity, and a already rich career with international distinctions (notably laureate of the Cooper International Competition in Cleveland). Alongside her, Kateryna Tereshchenko (pianist and co-repetiteur at the Zurich University of the Arts and Zurich Opera) as the main accompanist, Hrvoje Krizic and Romy Unseld (respectively cellist and pianist in the Mendelssohn Trio) bring complementary sensitivities for a program where virtuosity and eloquence respond to each other. From Mozart to Ravel, from Brahms to Massenet, this concert spans over a century of music celebrating the art of instrumental singing, expressive density, and lyrical momentum.
