The following disciplines will be on display:

Apparatus gymnastics in pairs, 3-5 teams, club
Individual gymnastics, in pairs, 3-5 teams, club
Aerobics in pairs, 3-5 teams, club

The diverse apparatus gymnastics is presented on the parallel bars, the rings, as floor gymnastics, and in the jumps. Gymnastics is performed on various sized areas with and without hand apparatus (hoop, club, ball, ribbon, rope, and unconventional) for the judges.

In the categories youth, active, and 30+, gymnasts show top performances and are awarded as Northwestern Swiss Champions 2026 at the end of the day. Around 1000 sports enthusiasts participate in this event, which attracts a large audience every year.

General Information

The Northwestern Swiss Championships take place on October 17 and 18, 2026, in the Frenkenbündten Hall in Liestal. Disciplines such as apparatus gymnastics, gymnastics, and aerobics are showcased, where teams and individuals demonstrate their skills. The event attracts many spectators annually and offers insight into the regional gymnastics and gymnastics scene.
