"My first thought was that I need to go back to my roots – to the time when I was a teenager discovering which chords go together and what melodies emerge from them on the piano and guitar. Back then, I didn't know it yet, but I was already gathering ideas that still accompany me today." This was a magical, unburdened time for him, says the mastermind behind hits like "I Take It All," "Metropolitans," or "Skyline," with which he thrilled audiences in stadiums, halls, and festivals with Pegasus and other artists. On the Songbook Tour, Veraguth is now opening his musical workshop to the audience for the first time. He performs the most important songs from his catalog in their original form: reduced to the essentials, focusing on feeling and essence. Sometimes only with guitar, piano, or other elements that accompany him during composition. In addition to his own songs, the evening also explores influences that have shaped his work, from Beatles classics to Brazilian music to Disney film music. And of course, the focus is also forward-looking: new and previously unreleased songs will premiere on the Songbook Tour.
