As a DJ and driving force behind numerous projects in Zurich, Nive has repeatedly demonstrated her keen sense of contemporary club and music culture. Drawing from her Tamil roots and her training in Carnatic music, Nive creates unique sets that effortlessly blend various influences and tempos. In a vibrant, rhythmic exploration of a variety of genres, Nive carefully selects each track until a narrative emerges that captivates the audience from start to finish. Nive's journey into DJing began with the feminist, interdisciplinary collective F96. Gradually, she made her way onto the international scene and has since performed at numerous venues, radio stations, and festivals across Europe. She is currently working with the Zurich record label Subject To Restrictions Discs and is a co-founder of Sooriyan, a platform that celebrates South Asian creators within the Swiss electronic music scene.
