Description

The former matchstick factory in the Forren area between Appenzell and Weissbad remains a place of art for the next three years. Over the course of the upcoming three exhibition years, various artist positions will be present in a flowing exchange and constant change. The Season 03 exhibition, Raw State * État brut, continues the series of the association to promote exchange between language regions as well as between generations of artists by bringing together the Jura native Romain Crelier and the Appenzell native, based in St. Gallen, Marc Hansjörg Lieberherr. Both artists deal with raw materials in connection with early humans in their own way. The second exhibition opens on Saturday, September 5th, with a public vernissage and remains accessible until around the end of May 2027. Important: During the entire exhibition period, interested visitors can borrow the key to the exhibition building at the Appenzell Tourist Info by depositing an ID.
