Rania Yasmine, Poligone, Piotr, Ash the Ash and LePhar perform one after another, offering an evening of jazz, pop, rock, electronic music, and experiments. Five projects from Romandy, five universes, five ways to play the stage. 20:00: Rania Yasmine (Soul / Hip-Hop / Afro, VD) Rania Yasmine, a Swiss artist with Tunisian and Dominican roots, combines soul, R&B, Afrobeat, and jazz into free and modern music. She rejects labels and makes diversity her strength. Her committed lyrics, carried by a captivating voice, address love, resilience, and injustice. Her first EP Ubuntu (June 13, 2025) embodies unity in diversity, a manifesto of a diverse and authentic artist. 20:40: Poligone (Indie Pop, VD) Poligone is an indie pop duo navigating between dark and bright atmospheres. Their songs tell stories of promises, dreams, revenge, infused with magic and raw truth. On electronic and danceable productions, calm always returns, allowing space for gentleness and enchanting poetry. Like a refuge after the storm, Poligone captures the gentle brutality of life. 21:20: Piotr (Rap, VD) Piotr, an artist and rapper from Lausanne, defines his approach through the connection of sincere writing and integral practice. He embodies profound rap, where text and music communicate powerfully. On stage, every performance becomes an intense adventure, marked by raw energy and complex musicality. Piotr subtly transforms his rap into an immersive and electrifying experience. 22:00: Ash the Ash (LoFi Rock, VD/GE) Ash the Ash is an indie rock band from Lausanne, led by the deep voice of Asher Varadi and the contributions of Lise Perrier. Their sound combines power and subtlety. After a well-received first album, Ash the Ash has established itself as a reference in the Romandy indie scene. Their latest EP, released in October 2025, was introduced in June with the single of the same name, Take It. 22:40: LePhar (Electro / Tech-house, FR) LePhar, aka Raphaël Schwartz, started piano at age 7 before turning to hip-hop with Lélents and Le Flux (Fribourg rap groups) in 2016. After attending the Gustav Academy in 2020, he discovered electronic production and created a universe that combines jazz, hip-hop, trap, and exotic sounds between house and experiment. LePhar invites you on a unique musical journey, guided by piano and synthesizers. Nextar The initiative Nextar, founded by the EJMA Live Foundation, supports emerging young talents from French-speaking Switzerland through comprehensive and personal artistic coaching. Since January 2026, Rania Yasmine, Poligone, Piotr, Ash the Ash, and LePhar—the program's second cohort—have benefited from tailored support by influential figures in the music industry. Artistic coaching, communication, fundraising, career development: key topics addressed to enable the next step in their professional careers. The highlight of the coaching year is an intensive week with workshops and mentoring, culminating in a public showcase on October 8, 2026, at the Jumeaux Jazz Club in Lausanne. Source: Hango
