Stile Antico is firmly established as one of the most successful and innovative vocal ensembles in the world. The name was and is programmatic, as the vocal music composed in the 'old style' of the English, Flemish, and Spanish Renaissance and early Baroque is at the core of their work. The twelve members captivate their audiences with vitality and palpable enthusiasm. Surprisingly at first glance, the ensemble operates without a conductor. The singers of Stile Antico see themselves as equal chamber musicians who develop the musical results together.
