Description

At Cirque Le Roux (who triumphed at Passage in 2021 with La nuit du cerf), skill alone is not enough: it transcends itself. Daring lifts, fragile balances, controlled falls, everything contributes to a visual composition that evokes emotion. In Nature Morte, eight characters evolve in a world where feelings seem contained. Through a series of tableaux, like moving impressions, the impact of each gesture is both visual and physical. The stage becomes a precarious space where walls pivot, frames slide, perspectives shift. Like a cinematic editing that unfolds and unravels before our eyes, the gaze is constantly recomposed. Then, behind the aesthetic rigor, the mechanism malfunctions. A gesture overflows, a fault appears, an emotion shows through.
