Description
Heat, cold, wind, and weather leave traces, shape surfaces, and create structures that do not follow any human design. Tribelhorn focuses on these natural forms and captures them photographically out of their usual context. Lines, surfaces, and contrasts stand out; wood and ice lose their immediate representational quality and develop their own visual language. The photographer and filmmaker grew up in Oberuzwil and now lives in the mountain world of Surselva. He became known, among other things, through his ski films, which have been shown at international outdoor film festivals and awarded multiple times. Photography has accompanied him since childhood alongside his moving camera. His photographic work ranges between documentary precision and artistic freedom. The focus is less on inventing new worlds than on uncovering what already exists – forms, structures, and moments that only reveal themselves upon close inspection. The works of "Natural Grown Abstract" are available as limited editions in formats from 30 × 40 to 100 × 80 cm.
