Description

In Mario Kochs forest, the bark beetle has left its mark – it is considered one of the most dangerous pests in forestry and can kill entire spruce stands. Part of the forest had to be felled. Natural regeneration is slow, so we support the development of a diverse deciduous mixed forest with our efforts. We need as many helping hands as possible for planting! Have you always wanted to plant a tree that will outlast you? Then this activity is perfect for you! At the same time, we are enhancing the forest edge: we plant shrub groups and hedge elements in bare areas to create a natural gradation again. Help us create a diverse forest and forest edge and learn more about deciduous mixed forests and bark beetles. Expect an exciting exchange with like-minded people, a delicious vegetarian lunch, and much appreciation for your work.
