Connecting Nature – Hedge Planting at Hof Wannenwis

Description

At the Erlebnisfarm Wannenwis, a variety of animals live, including exotic animals (mostly confiscated or surrendered) as well as native farm animals. We have also often been active on Hof Wannenwis with wild animals such as weasels, hedgehogs, amphibians, and various birds. This year, we want to plant a hedge again to continue promoting habitat connectivity. Together, we will dig holes, cut plant roots, and plant native hedge shrubs, so there is definitely something for everyone! Besides a vegetarian lunch, there will be plenty of time for exchange among participants. You will also learn exciting facts about the ecological value of hedges and the keeping of exotic animals. Join us and help close the season of 'Nature Connects' at Hof Wannenwis. We look forward to seeing you!
