At the Permaculture Farm Knechtle in Weissbad, hands-on work is underway: Together, we are creating wood and stone piles to promote biodiversity in the Knechtle family's herb garden. Visit this special place and become part of it! "Where the soil is loose and airy, carrots can be knobby, and pears don't have to shine. Where worms, mice, and pigs dig in all directions, and the goofe are part of nature." This is exactly where nature intervention begins. The herb garden is already a diverse habitat for amphibians, rare plants, and small mammals. To further enhance this diversity, new wood and stone piles are being built, and an existing Benjes hedge and stream are being maintained. To promote local biodiversity, many helping hands are needed. Come by and support the Permaculture Farm Knechtle in creating new habitats! Besides practical work, you'll learn exciting things about permaculture, enjoy a vegetarian lunch, and meet like-minded people.
