Description

In Honicích, the election of the night watchman, a person who ensures the safety of the village, takes place. The municipal councilors, however, have a very difficult task, as two strong candidates stand against each other: retired soldier Valentin Bláha and tailor František Fiala. Mayor Filip Dubský and first councilor Jakub Bušek are also adamant and do not want to yield to the other under any circumstances, complicating the situation further with an anonymous threatening letter... A gem of Czech drama celebrates its return to the historic building of the National Theatre.
