MYRIA POFFET TRIO The Velvet Songbook

Description

Myria Poffet and Michel Poffet have been performing together on stage for over twenty years.
Myria followed her father early into the creative world of jazz. This led to the dialect- and French-language project CHANTEMOISELLE, which produced the albums «Chantemoiselle» and «Es Stück vom Glück». In 2013, Myria and Michel Poffet founded the POFFET TRIO with the recently deceased David Elias.
With their new program «The Velvet Songbook», Myria and Michel Poffet, together with Peter Horisberger, present original compositions that stylistically range between soul, pop, jazzy grooves, and a touch of classical music – multifaceted, personal, and with palpable joy of playing.
