Description

On October 24, 2026, representatives from schools, higher education institutions, associations, and politics will gather in Olten to actively shape the future of music education in Switzerland. The event features a keynote speech by Barbara Studer, followed by discussions with various interest groups, sharing perspectives and developing new ideas. Practical projects will illustrate key themes such as the importance of music in schools, quality standards, and effective frameworks. Participants will contribute to the development of a collective position to strengthen music education for all children and youth, both in compulsory schooling and beyond.
